Jim Chomchai is a Thai American artist who enjoys working in a variety of drawing and painting media, including oil, watercolor, acrylics, tempera, pastel, metalpoint, and colored pencil. 

He is a member of the California Art Club, the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, and the International Society of Acrylic Painters.  Jim graduated with a M.D. degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.

He grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, and subsequently spent several years in Texas.  He has been residing in Southern California for nearly 20 years.
